|Key Details for TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2019|
|Starts:||Saturday, June 29, 2019|
|Ends:||Sunday, September 1, 2019|
Starting in June 2019, TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2019 will see events taking place across 2 countries in North America including Canada and the United States, before coming to a close in September 2019.
It's believed that between 6 and 10 tall ships will take part in TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2019.
In between visits to a number of maritime festivals the tall ships take part in races, crewed by young people who may never have sailed before, running educational programmes that help help them to develop both personally and professionally.
The 2019 series will see a TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® fleet visit a number of American and Canadian ports across the Great Lakes with a number of popular port stops alongside a number of new ones too. Given the scale of the tour in 2019, the Canadian ports (Toronto, Midland, Sarnia, Kingsville and Brockville) have come together collectively under the event TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® ONTARIO.
The 2019 series launches at Redpath Waterfront Festival in Toronto before heading on to events in Buffalo, Cleveland, Bay City, Green Bay, Kenosha, Sarnia, Kingsville and Erie before the finale festival in Brockville.
We haven't yet found an official website listing the event schedule, public opening hours and ticket information, but will publish a link here as soon as it becomes available.
