Join the tall ship MAYBE in Liverpool on June 2nd 2019 for an unforgettable 5 day adventure that both begins and ends in the United Kingdom. You'll be getting hands on with setting the sails, steering the ship, keeping watch and more throughout the voyage and the best part is that no experience is required in order to join - you'll be taught everything you need to know before you need to know it at every stage throughout the journey.
If you're hoping to get RYA qualified it will be possible to work toward your RYA Comp Crew or RYA Start Yachting whilst onboard.
By the end of the course you will have achieved your RYA Start Yachting or your RYA Competent Crew qualification. Become a member of the crew and spend the week sailing the Irish Sea whilst learning all the skills necessary to sail a traditional gaff rigged sailing boat. This is a hands on practical course and by the end of the week you should be able to steer the ship, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in the day to day duties on board.
Your journey aboard this beautiful Gaff Rigged Ketch will end in Liverpool where you'll disembark on June 7th. Please note you need to be aged between 16 and 100 in order to join this voyage.

Maybe Sailing Vessels are covered by third party liability insurance for serious injury or loss of life, but they strongly advise you to take out travel insurance as soon as you book your holiday. Make sure you find travel insurance that gives you financial protection if you must cancel or curtail your holiday, cover loss or damage to baggage, or incur any additional medical or transport costs. If you have your own annual travel insurance or a cover with your credit or debit card, please check your own policy carefully to make sure it covers sailing/ cruising/ yachting for sailing more than 12 miles from shore.
