Originally built as a plaice fishing vessel with a 'wet' hold by Christian Nielsen in Friedrichshaven, Denmark, Soteria provides an opportunity for all ages to act as a full member of the crew. No experience necessary as full training is provided to set sails, steer a compass course and navigate. She has regularly taken part in pirate pageants with fully costumed pirates firing cannons with a similar schooner. All crew are unpaid volunteers and bookings can be made by individuals or groups.
