Replica frigate SHTANDART - active sail-training ship

Frigate Shtandart (Штандартъ) is a full-size wooden replica of the first flagship of the Imperial Russian Navy, which was in service for Tsar Peter I (Peter the Great) between 1703 and 1727.

This fully-working replica ship was built using authentic technologies as per the original construction over 300 years ago and now welcomes people of all nationalities to experience the thrill of sailing her on the open seas. Shtandart is a regular attendee at many international tall ships events, including the annual Tall Ships Races and Regattas organised by Sail Training International.

Did You Know? Shtandart offers an experience known as 'Sail Training', a course in personal and professional development championed by youth organisations, multi-national corporations and even navies from across the world.
