Kapitan Borchardt is a beautiful 97 year old three-masted gaff-rigged schooner.
Since 8 October 2011 when she was christened in Gdańsk she has sailed under the name of Kapitan Borchardt as a Polish sail training ship. She was named after Karol Olgierd Borchardt to honour the idea of popularisation of maritime traditions and customs and to honour the name of the well-known Polish captain, man of letters and marine writer.
STS Kapitan Borchardt is a perfect place for corporate hospitality, team building, incentives, product presentations, conferences and other business events. Elegant, unique and with an old soul for the perfect balance of feeling at sea and feeling at home. We can arrange sailing day trips and our guests will have the opportunity to set sails, climb the mast, or have a short lesson of navigation (We can accommodate up to 50 guests for such events and day sailings). Our crew are professionals who will delightedly share their knowledge and experience with those who are interested in sailing, as well as take good care of the safety and comfort of your event. The ship also offers intimate ambience suitable for precious occasion such as weddings, engagement parties, anniversaries or even informal, relaxed celebrations. Anything is possible onboard.
