Christian Radich, a class A tall ship used for Sail Training

Built in 1937 as a training ship for the Merchant Navy of Norway, the full-rigged tall ship Christian Radich served for many years before eventually being converted for use as a sail training and charter ship in 1999. Since then she's gained a stong reputation for success in Sail Training International's annual Tall Ships Races and Regattas, crewed at any one time by up to 80 trainees from across the world who may never have sailed before.

Christian Radich offers an experience known as ‘Sail Training’, a course in personal and professional development championed by youth organisations, multi-national corporations and even navies from across the world.
