Alexander Von Humboldt II is a class A 3 masted barque.

Constructed in 2011, Alexander Von Humboldt II (or 'ALEX 2') continues the work of her predecessor in making tall ship sailing available to anybody, no matter their previous experience.

With up to 25 crew and 54 trainees aboard, ALEX 2 usually sails voyages of 1 to 14 days across the North and Baltic seas through the summer before heading south to the Mediterranean, The Canaries or the Caribbean for the winter. You'll often find her taking part in the annual Tall Ships Races and Regattas organised by Sail Training International.

Alexander von Humboldt II offers those aged 15-25 an experience known as ‘Sail Training’, a course in personal and professional development championed by youth organisations, multi-national corporations and even navies from across the world.
