Southampton Boat Show 2017, a fantastic UK event with the possibility of tall ships!
With 100s of boats and crafts to see, both new and old you will be spoilt for choice. This year will be like no other with an exceptional line up of interactive attractions, the latest innovations, world launches and experts galore. With 500+ exhibitors spread across the land and the marina, this year's boating festival is set to be the best yet. On the marina, there will be over 2km of pontoons, displaying more than 300 boats. There will be some of the world's most prestigious exhibitors and brands, hosting global, European and UK launches of yachts, RIBs, motor and day boats.
In addition, the Marina holds many exciting feature boats. Visitors to the show can experience the thrill of being out on the water with the hugely popular Try-a-Boat feature. Whether you're a bold beginner or a sailing expert, choose from a more varied selection of the latest RIBs, powerboats and yachts to enjoy getting out on the water FREE. This attraction is in great demand so get to the show early as it's first come, first served. Book you're try-a-boat session as soon as you enter the show, in the Arena. Try-a-boat is available for children aged 8 upwards, and under 18s need a signature from an adult. There are also on the water activities for 8 - 16 year olds who can go along and discover the excitement of dinghy sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Get Afloat, is a tailor-made attraction for younger visitors. This activity is FREE and works on a first come first served basis so get to the show early and book your place at the booking point on the Rockley Watersports stand. There is also an opportunity for those in wheelchairs to get afloat on board the fully wheelchair accessible 9m Cheetah catamaran.
