Sweden welcomes the Baltic Sail 2019 series for Karlskrona Archipelago Festival 2019, a must see event for anybody interested in traditional sail.

As one of the main annual events for the region, Karlskrona Archipelago Festival 2019 is sure to impress. Described by UNESCO as an “outstanding example of a late-17th century European planned naval city”, Karlskrona is spread over 33 islands and is well known for its rich maritime culture.

As a part of Baltic Sail 2019 it’s all about exploring the history, culture and traditions of the Baltic region. If you’re keen to experience traditional sail first hand then look no further as Karlskrona Archipelago Festival 2019 will offer the chance to step aboard and sail away aboard many of the vessels in attendance. It could be for just a few hours during the festival or as part of the regatta moving on to the next event in the Baltic Sail 2019 series. If you’re entertaining guests there will also be deck hospitality opportunities on offer.

Don’t forget to visit the National Naval Museum of Sweden while you’re in town too - it’s a must see attraction for anybody visiting the city and what better time to visit than during the annual Archipelago Festival!
