Pirates, pirates and more pirates take to the south of England for Brixham Pirate Festival, an event that's fun for the whole family!
Expect plenty of noise, from endless shanties ringing through the town centre right down to cannon fire down in the harbour. All visitors are invited to dress appropriately and for the kids that usually means a fancy dress competition too.
Right in the centre of the event will be Golden Hind, a replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Tudor Galleon which will be open to the public throughout the festival. For those staying late there’ll be no end to the options on offer as entertainment takes over venues across the town in the evenings.
