Join MAYBE in Greenock, Scotland on June 19th 2020 for an unforgettable 5 day educational voyage that both begins and ends in the United Kingdom. We highly recommend you get hands on with setting the sails, steering the ship, keeping watch and more though it will be possible to join as a passenger for this voyage if you simply wish to relax onboard. No experience is required to be able to join either and the permanent crew will be on hand to make sure you know all the information you need to in good time.
You'll be sailing with land in sight throughout most of the voyage.
Become a member of the crew and learn all the skills necessary to sail a traditional gaff-rigged sailing boat. By the end of the week, you should be able to steer the ship, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in the day to day duties on board.
Your adventure aboard this beautiful Gaff Rigged Ketch will end in Falmouth where you'll disembark on June 24th. The primary language spoken onboard will be English.
