If you're lucky enough to be aged between 15 and 17 then look no further as this is a great pick for those looking to take on a new challenge, build their skill set and meet new people. You'll join the tall ship MAYBE in Dublin on April 15th, ready to begin an unforgettable 5 day expedition voyage that will take you from Ireland to the United Kingdom. You'll be getting hands on with setting the sails, steering the ship, keeping watch and more throughout the voyage and the best part is that no experience is required in order to join - you'll be taught everything you need to know before you need to know it at every stage throughout the journey. This one's an ideal choice if you're hoping to earn the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Residential Award.

Our youth voyages are aimed at young people between the ages of 15 and 17. We have scheduled our youth voyages to coincide with the school and university holidays in the UK and Ireland for maximum convenience and to make them accessible to as many young people as possible.

Under the watchful eyes of our fully trained permanent crew, you will become a trainee crew member on board Tall Ship Maybe, sailing with like-minded young people. Learn about teamwork, leadership whilst learning skills in sailing a traditional tall ship. Help hoist the sails, steer the ship and navigate the seas! See amazing scenery. Spot amazing wildlife. You don’t need any experience at all as you will learn everything you need to know on board.

You will gain knowledge of sailing, learn to live and work alongside others, gain knowledge in marine conservation and the part you have to play in the conservation of our oceans.

But, most importantly, you will have a fantastic adventure which you will share with new friends and will be etched in your memory forever.

This voyage qualifies for Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential and Gaisce Gold Award.

You can also gain an RYA Qualification on this voyage. You can add this onto your booking at the time of booking. (Additional fee of £45).

Your journey aboard this beautiful Gaff Rigged Ketch will end in Belfast, Northern Ireland where you'll disembark on April 20th.
