Cowes Small Ships Sail Training UK and Ireland
Join us for this four day adventure on TS Maybe. You will join the boat in Gosport, and following safety briefings we set sail to anchor off the Isle of Wight for the evening. Friday, the race preparation begins! You will spend the day learning about the sails, and gaining confidence in your role on deck in all ship maneuvers. On the Friday evening, we head in to Cowes to register for the race, have a pre-race dinner and get an early night. Saturday is race day!! You will use your skills developed on Friday to help TS Maybe race against over 15 other ships in the Cowes Small Ships Race. That evening, we head back into Cowes for the after-race party at the yacht club, celebrating with the race crews from all the other vessels. On Sunday morning we head back to Gosport where you will disembark at 2pm.

Maybe Sailing Vessels are covered by third party liability insurance for serious injury or loss of life, but they strongly advise you to take out travel insurance as soon as you book your holiday. Make sure you find travel insurance that gives you financial protection if you must cancel or curtail your holiday, cover loss or damage to baggage, or incur any additional medical or transport costs. If you have your own annual travel insurance or a cover with your credit or debit card, please check your own policy carefully to make sure it covers sailing/ cruising/ yachting for sailing more than 12 miles from shore.
