If you're hoping to earn the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Residential Award or the Gaisce President’s Award Ireland, this is an ideal choice. Your voyage will feature a mix of Inland and Inshore & Coastal sailing. You'll be sailing with land in sight throughout most of the voyage.

Become a member of crew and spend 6days sailing from Belfast to Falmouth whilst learning all the skills necessary to sail a traditional gaff rigged sailing boat. By the end of the week you should be able to steer the ship, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in the day to day duties on board.

Your mile building voyage aboard this beautiful Gaff Rigged Ketch will end in Falmouth where you'll disembark on September 6th. The primary language spoken onboard will be English.

You must be able to climb a 6ft (2m) ladder
You must be physically fit enough to take part in sailing activities
You must comply with all safety regulations during your trip

Travel Insurance Is required. Once you have booked and paid for your voyage please ensure that you have appropriate travel insurance.
