A fantastic annual tall ships regatta designed to empower hundreds of students, apprentices and young employees from across the UK.

Those who take part will experience what is known as 'Sail Training' and they'll do so aboard one of many magnificent tall ships. It's all about giving them an experiential course in personal and professional development that will help them shape their own futures, becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

Among the companies who've taken part in previous editions are United Utilities, Sellafield, Bentley, Peel Ports, Cammell Laird and more, cementing the reputation of this fantastic event in its ability to help national and even multi-national corporations move forward through the development of their youngest employees.

The 2018 edition of The Apprentice Ship Cup will begin with a voyage from Liverpool and Dublin, beginning on May 26th and ending on June 2nd. It will coincide with The Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta in both Liverpool and Dublin, adding a quite unique celebratory atmosphere in port for those taking part. The Apprentice Ship Cup fleet will then head for Greenock, via Whitehaven before attending Clyde River Festival on June 9th and 10th. The fleet will then complete a final voyage returning to Liverpool for June 15th before the Annual Apprentice Ship Cup Awards Evening the following day.
