Tall Ships New Orleans 2018, Celebrating New Orleans’ Tricentennial Anniversary!
As a part of the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE Gulf Coast 2018 series organised by Tall Ships America, many of the ships will be crewed by young people who have never sailed before, running educational programmes that help them to develop both personally and professionally through a practice known as Sail Training.
Following a parade of sail on the Thursday this event will offer a fantastic opportunity for visitors to step aboard many beautiful tall ships from across the world and even spend a few hours sailing aboard some of the ships taking part. If that's not enough for you, the event will coincide with NOLA Navy Week.

From New Orleans the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® fleet will head out to the Atlantic coast and race north to Sail Philadelphia 2018.
