According to Fondation Belem, Belem, a 65m 3 Masted Barque, will be in Nantes from Saturday, March 21st to Sunday, March 29th 2020.

The official website suggests she will be open on the following days: 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of March 2020.

Launched in 1896, Belem began life as a cargo ship transporting sugar from the West Indies as well as cocoa and coffee from Brazil and French Guiana to Nantes in France. Highlights in her history include ownership by Hugh Grosvenor, 2nd Duke of Westminster, and the beer baron Sir Author Ernest Guinness as well as a number of narrow escapes from disaster, including the eruption of Mount Pelée in 1902 because the harbour had, by chance, been too full to accommodate her.
