Rumregatta Flensburg 2017 - The largest gaff rigged sailing competition in Northern Europe!
This quite spectacular weekend sees the inner fjord of Flensburg welcome over 100 traditional sailing vessels for a regatta like no other. We hear that second prize is traditionally a 3-litre bottle of rum, a quite interesting twist that sees competitors trying their best not to come in first!
If you're staying on dry land there's still just as much fun to be had, with a fantastic folk festival so good it sees visitors attend in the tens of thousands!
