Celebrating the maritime heritage of Tasmania, the Australian Wooden Boat Festival 2019 is set to be the largest wooden boat festival in the southern hemisphere and it will likely all begin with a spectacular parade of sail on the first day, featuring everything from historic tall ships to classic sailboats and more.
It’s not just the hundreds of wooden boats on the water you’ll be able to see either, there’ll be a dedicated programme for the kids happening alongside an endless array of exhibitions, displays, demonstrations and more taking place throughout the city of Hobart.
