According to the official organiser Kieler Woche 2020 (also known as Kiel Week 2020) will take place in Kiel, Germany from Saturday, June 20th to Sunday, June 28th 2020.

Vessels confirmed so far for Kieler Woche 2020 include Eye of the Wind, a 132ft Brig.

As one of the largest events in the global sailing calendar, Kieler Woche is guaranteed not to disappoint - we’re talking some 3 million visitors, 2000 vessels and 400 regatta starts in just one week - and among those many masts you can expect as many as 100 traditional sailing vessels to be in attendance. Some of the worlds most beautiful tall ships are often open to visitors throughout the event whilst others regularly offer the opportunity to entertain guests with sail-away hospitality.

It’s not all about sailing however as there’ll be a packed programme of musical entertainment, activities for children, cultural events, land-based sporting competitions and unforgettable firework displays taking place throughout the week too.

Not to miss is the Windjammer Parade which sees over 100 traditional sailing vessels take centre stage on the water. We’re struggling to find the words to describe it, there’s the image above to help, just make sure you’re there!
