A festival marking the beginning of summer for the Boothbay region.
The 56th Annual Windjammer Days Festival kicks of summer 2018 for the Boothbay region with something on offer for all the family. For the kids there’ll be dedicated tents to keep them entertained with nautical themed activities throughout the day and for teens and up past editions have offered the chance to try everything from arts and crafts to golf and even one-design racing on the water.
Of course the event centres around the water with a beautiful fleet of Windjammers in attendance year after year. There’ll be opportunities to take a look aboard in port or event to sail away for a hour or two but that’s not all as the highlight event will of course be the parade of sail, a quite unique opportunity to see an entire fleet of Windjammers cruising in company as they enter the harbour.
As the evenings come in there’ll be musical entertainment for all and of course one of the days will also feature a fireworks display you simply cannot miss.
