Tall Ships Network has announced that Alexander Von Humboldt II will be taking part in The Tall Ships Races Harlingen 2018.
About Alexander Von Humboldt II
Constructed in 2011, Alexander Von Humboldt II (or 'ALEX 2') continues the work of her predecessor in making tall ship sailing available to anybody, no matter their previous experience. With up to 25 crew and 54 trainees aboard, ALEX 2 usually sails voyages of 1 to 14 days across the North and Baltic seas through the summer before heading south to the Mediterranean, The Canaries or the Caribbean for the winter. You'll often find her taking part in the annual Tall Ships Races and Regattas organised by Sail Training International. The Tall Ships Races 2018, a Tall Ships Series visiting four Northern European countries.
